Why donate?
Peace One Day is a non-profit organisation, so all funds raised go back into our projects for peace. So whether it's spreading the word, educating or celebrating, here's what we do with your donations.
Your donations will help give young people the tools to mark Peace Day 21 September in their school, home and local community, exploring issues such as conflict resolution, inter-cultural cooperation, ending bullying, the UN, peace and non-violence in relation to the environment, music, sport and more.
Every year, Peace One Day holds a flagship celebration with musicians, actors and celebrities to highlight people's commitments and announce plans. This year we'll be hosting an event at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Your donations will help make it a day to remember and ensure that more people get to hear about Peace Day 21 September.
The first Peace One Day documentary has become a key tool in raising awareness, having played all over the world to millions of people via broadcasts and special screenings. Your donations will help fund the new film, due for release in 2008.
We want to make this website the greatest peace portal in the world - inspiring and holding content around peace and sustainability. Your donations will help the global community of peace to grow.
Each year, Peace One Day sends out thousands of communications to ask 'What will you do to make peace on 21 September?' On Peace Day 2006 there were reported activities in 200 countries, directly involving 27.6 million people. Your donations will help us reach more people than ever in 2007.
