Peace One Day joins leaders of art, stage and technology to welcome Patrons President, Emmet B Keeffe III at the Peace One Day Patrons bi-annual awareness and fundraising event, held at the prestigious Royal Automobile Club on 15 December 2015. Actor Sean Pertwee and co-founder of Innocent Drinks, Richard Reed, will join Peace One Day founder, Jeremy Gilley to celebrate the appointment.

Alongside a performance from Jon Lee with former cast members from Jersey Boys, there will be a live auction of contemporary art and exclusive items. The globally renowned pop artist, Romero Britto will donate an exclusive portrait, while modern day surrealist Nancy Fouts has used a decommissioned M16 assault rifle as her inspiration to create an incredible artwork from miniaturised golden sculptures of ordinary people. Alongside these remarkable pieces will be the chance to win exclusive experiences with some of the world’s leading names in motor sport, such as Aston Martin and Auto Vivendi.

In addition, a silent auction will take place where attendees will have the opportunity to purchase a 45cm high Venus De Milo sculpture made out of chocolate donated by AVM Curiosities, a silkscreen artist’s proof print entitled ‘Anomie’ by British artist Dan Baldwin, as well as many other exclusive pieces. There are also a number of invaluable work experience opportunities on offer with prestigious companies such as multinational consumer goods company Unilever and global advertising agency Bartle Bogle Hegarty (BBH).

“The Peace One Day Patrons Dinner is set to be a marvellous event full of festive spirit and is the perfect way to celebrate what has been a successful year for the organisation,” said Peace One Day founder Jeremy Gilley. “I am extremely grateful to the Peace One Day Patrons President Emmet B. Keeffe III who has worked tirelessly to make this event a success. I would like to thank event sponsors Insight Venture Partners, LogicNow, Mirantis, Mimecast, Skytap, Firemon, The Digital Board, and E & J Gallo Winery for their support and look forward to working with them in the future. These events play an important role in enabling Peace One Day to continue its work raising awareness and manifesting action on Peace Day, resulting in a decrease in violence worldwide.”

Software entrepreneur and recently appointed Patrons President Emmet B. Keeffe III said, “The Peace One Day Patrons Programme provides individuals with the opportunity to support a global cause that seeks to create a more peaceful and sustainable world. By providing financial support, individuals will help Peace One Day take the message of Peace Day even further, inspiring activity on the day, resulting in a decrease in violence on a global scale. In my capacity as Patrons President I also look forward to leveraging my extensive contact base with leaders at large global corporates, to help drive the message far and wide.”
